Many of our athletes took part in the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon yesterday in Dublin. The event was a great success with lots of money going to various charities all over the country. Congratulations to all concerned in organising such a great Women’s event. Chaltu Dida was a great winner with many of our other athletes strongly supporting, listed below. At the All-Ireland Schools Championships in Tullamore on Saturday Jasmine Kinch ETTS Goatstown, finished 2nd in the Junior Girls Triple Jump (10.60) with Lauryn Healy, Loreto Foxrock also winning silver in the Senior Girls High Jump (1.60). Ewan Kennedy, The High School, took bronze in the Senior Boys 1500m (3.58.67). Robbie Tallon, The High School, was a joint 2nd place finisher in the Sen. Pole Vault (2.90). 29 May Last night, DSDAC athlete Elizabeth Ndudi became the first Irish athlete to qualify for the 2026 NCAA Div I Championships. She jumped 6.36 (+0.8) to secure her spot in the top 12 at the West Region qualifiers in Fayetteville, AR DSD wishes Elizabeth all the best - we are all excited and proud of you Elizabeth
