DSD endurance Squad picked up their 3rd Team win in the Peugeot race series in Tullamore yesterday.
The Aisling Murphy 4mile is part of the eighth race Peugeot Race series. Going into this event the DSD endurance squad led the team competition having won the Portlaoise and Kilkenny events
The team was led home by Jamie Byrne, still a junior, stepping up to come home in 3rd place (19.51) behind strong senior competition. Eanna O Bradaigh was close behind Jamie in 4th (20.00), Morgan Clarkson completed the key team scoring in 9th (20.42).
The Women’s team was led home by Sarah Mulligan in 4th (23.01) Sarah was closely followed home by Maria McCambridge in 5th (23.10), completing the scoring was Niamh Devlin in 8th in 24.32
The strong running from the Men and Women combined gave the team a 9 point win over DCH.
Ruben Bartelink finished in 16th overall in 21.40 and was 1st home (M50).
Ruben was followed home by Tadgh Bartelink in 25th position in a time of 22.08. Adriele Prima-Mello was 31st in 22.40
The Endurance squad will have a quick turnaround and will turn their focus to the next race in the series on Tuesday night 21st May in Enfield.
