💪The National Spring Throws festival saw 7 DSD athletes in action. Is this a record? I believe they are going to Templemore this weekend too.
🏃♀️🏃🏽We had a good day out at the juvenile relays. I had us ranked third behind Ratoath (must be witchcraft at play there) and MSB (barely). Two championship best performances and the u 19 boys ranked now 29th in Europe I am unreliably informed (Peter Sinclair). Pick of the juveniles was Lauren Healy picking up another National title. Is she our winningest athlete at present?
🥇🥈Our Meet Train Race women wrapped up the XC season. 6 teams participating, 1st and 2nd individuals (Lisa Gaughan and Ruth Wilson). Well we never did that before.
👷👷♀️Even as the construction work gets underway on 2 (Sportshall), tenders went out this week for Phase 3 (Orchard, Stableyard etc.) 18 months of pain but will be worth it.
DLR put a keypad on the track gate without telling us. 1234 is the imaginative code.
👩🏫 Áine McNamara delivered her final report on athlete development which should give us the springboard to finesse our coaching structures over the next few weeks. More work for our lead coaches.
This weekend Hiko goes again in the Rotterdam Marathon hoping to improve his Irish record.
