Cross Country League 3 (Entries Reopened!) Tymon Park Sunday, 24th November, 2024


Please note DSD will be processing ALL DSD XC League & Championship entries for 2024


Congratulations to all our DSD athletes who took part in the first two Dublin XC Leagues – it was fantastic to see so many of our Juvenile athletes out competing – for some it may have been their first XC race while others are well seasoned!


We would now like to invite all of our athletes join us for the final Dublin XC League. Thank you to all League 3 Entries received to date. Please click here to view all entries received so far. We have now reopened entries for League 3 in Tymon Park on Sunday 24th November 2024 from 11am.


The XC Leagues are open to all registered members from U9 upwards and are a great introduction to a competition event in a relaxed fun setting starting off at a shorter distance in League 1 and progressively getting longer in Leagues 2 & 3.


League Points System:

Points are awarded to the Top 20 athletes on the day with all athletes who finish receiving bonus in each race. The Top 6 in each Age Group receive awards based on points accumulated across the course of the Leagues (trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and boxed medals for 4th, 5th,6th).


Ages Categories:

  • U8 (born 2017 – U8’s can step up to U9 for XC competitions)

  • U9 (born 2016 & 2017)

  • U10 (born 2015)

  • U11 (born 2014)

  • U12 (born 2013)

  • U13 (born 2012)

  • U14 (born 2011)

  • U15 (born 2010)

  • U16 (born 2009)

  • U17 (born 2008)

  • U18 (born 2007)

  • U19/U20 (born 2006 & 2005)


All DSD XC Leagues entries will co-ordinated and submitted online by DSD Officials

Entries have currently reopened for League 3 – please click here to submit your League 3


Entries will close on 6pm Sunday 17th November.

  • 1st race at 11am (note times are approximate)

  • Check in and get your number at the DSD flag

  • Please be there at least an hour before you race to collect your number and warm up

  • Club Singlet must be worn (Please find the link to order below) Dundrum South Dublin Athletics Club - Team Wear Store.ie

  • Be prepared for all types of weather

  • Bring food and drink as delays can happen



Volunteers/Officials

Clubs are required to provide volunteers at all events. In order to ensure that our coaches can concentrate on their athletes we look to parents to help when required and your co-operation will be much appreciated. Please let us know if you are available via the League 1 online entry form.
