Volunteers

Clubs are required to provide volunteers at all events. In order to ensure that our coaches can concentrate on their athletes we look to parents to help when required. Many thanks to everyone who put their name forward to volunteer at both Leagues 1 & 2 - we really appreciate it and could not run these events without your generosity!

Cecil has asked for as many volunteers as possible for this weekend so we are covering 5 volunteer slots on this occasion - we have split the role into and early and late volunteer to coincide with when your child will be running on the day. We have 1 member of the Starts Team, 2 positions at the Finish Line and 2 Course Marshalls.

  • Starts Team

    Ronan Gately

  • Finish area

    Anna Carley/Hilary McNamara

    Sheelagh Doyle /Caroline Corr

  • Course Marshalls

    David Flynn/Sinead Hingston

    Moshin Quasi/Alan Moore

Course Marshalls should check-in with Seamus Flynn at 10.30am, Starts Team to check in with Charlie O’Neill at 10.40am and Finish Area officials should check in with Nicole Hodson at 10.40am - we can point you in the right direction on the day.

We randomly picked volunteers on this occasion based on Cecil's request - The 1st name of the pair is the early volunteer, the 2nd is taking over from the 1st, please ensure you don’t leave your post until your replacement has arrived.

Many thanks again to everyone for putting themselves forward – you have made the task of providing Dublin Juvenile Competition Committee with volunteer names so much easier!

We would also like to thank our coaches who have prepared their athletes so well and will be attending on the day - 2024 has indeed been a record Cross Country Season!

Wishing all DSD athletes the very best of luck!
