Six DSD Master Athletes competed last Saturday in Abbotstown - 3 in the League Final and 3 in the AAI Games.
Special mention to Maria McCambridge and Vigetta Moran, who contributed a total of 9 very valuable points (despite conceding 25 yrs + to virtually all their opponents!) to ensure DSD Women won Silver in the League Final.
Ronan Gately competed in the Pole Vault earning 3 points for the Men’s team in the League Final.
Adina Gheorghiu, James Sullivan and Shane Sheridan all had very strong performances in their respective sprints (see below).
Adina and Shane, will now travel to Braga in Portugal for the European Masters Indoors Championships on 20-27th Feb, together with 5 other DSD Masters Athletes (Avril Dillon, Lucy Moore, Kevin Byrne, Peadar McGing and Ronan Gately).
