Phase 1 of our Campus officially opened on 1st January 2023 and since then we have had the pleasure of training on one of the best athletics tracks and on the most beautiful network of trails in the country, not to mention the fantastic equipment for field events.
Phase 2 brings a LOT MORE. Phase 2 will see DSD getting its long sought-after Clubhouse! Changing rooms, large gym, indoor sprint track, halls, and much more. It's all there in the plans that are available on Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council's (DLR) website.
With Phase 2, we are partnering with DLR to open up the Campus to the wider community. The Campus will see minority sports flourishing and it will be a go-to place for families and friends.
For this all to happen, we need to get Planning Permission to allow Phase 2 to go ahead. This where we need the support of Club members, family and friends.
The DLR Councillors have the task of approving the Part 8 Planning application for this project. They will be encouraged to do so if they believe this initiative truly brings a benefit to the community.
