Dublin Indoors – Programme Schedule

Please find the following details issued by Dublin Athletics Board:

  1. Programme of Events

  2. Competition Booklet – As this has a total of 56 pages we will not be printing copies for all. Clubs should print their own.

Admission

Fee is €5 for adults with a weekend fee of €10. We will be operating a coloured wrist band system, different colour for each day/weekend.

Athletes and spectators will not be given access to the facility until 6pm at the earliest on Friday evening and 9am on Saturday and Sunday.

Car Parking – Although there are almost 400 car park spaces there might be a need for the Campus Security staff to direct people to other car park areas in the vicinity of the arena. No cars should be parked on paving areas, on edge of kerb/footpaths or any other unauthorised areas.

Arena

On entering the facility everyone should either go up the steps to the seated area or standing area, or continue along the passageway on the left to the seated sections on the opposite side of the track. Turning right after entering the facility is not permitted.

There are designated toilet and shower/changing areas along the passageway under the fixed seating. Additional toilet areas are outside the entrance door to the track.

The Dublin County Board are expected to leave the facility in the same order we find it before competition. Clubs should advise their athletes, coaches, parents and spectators/supporters to keep all areas clean of rubbish including toilet/changing areas, between seats and in the vicinity of the facility. Please use the available bins, if these become full, please bring your excess litter away with you.

Only officials and athletes will be permitted on the track and in field event areas. ONLY officials and athletes who are permitted at in advance of their event should be in the warm up area. Any unauthorised infringement may lead to an athlete or coach being disqualified.

Athletes, Coaches and parents should show respect and courtesy to officials at all times.

Best of luck to all athletes.

Dublin Athletics Board.
