As you can appreciate it takes a lot of effort from all clubs to host an athletics event. Thank you to the DSD parents who have given up their time to help on the day, your kind contribution is very much appreciated.

NOTE:

Please note Coaches will be on hand to warm-up athletes and will also walk the course at least 40 minutes before race start time. It is important that you be on-time as Coaches are unable to wait to start warm-up and walk the course.

Volunteers/Officials

Clubs are required to provide volunteers at all events. In order to ensure that our coaches can concentrate on their athletes we look to parents to help when required and your co-operation is much appreciated. Many thanks to the parents who have put their names forward already to assist – in the event that we need to ask for volunteers to step in on the day – we hope you will be patient with our requests and generous with your time.

In addition, as part of our agreement with Athletics Ireland, the Dublin Board are also looking for volunteers to assist with the Course set up of tents and signage on Friday 13th/Saturday 14th and for help taking down the tents and signage at the end of the day on Sunday 15th. If anyone is available to assist with any of the above, please let us know. Also if any volunteer officials are available to stay on to assist with the Relays and Autumn Open Course Marshalls, please let us know.

Please refer to the attached documents for Entries, Directions, Parking, Course Map, Race Schedule and Age Categories.

Wishing all athletes the very best of luck!

Yours in Sport

Sharon Wilson
