2025 Membership Renewal:

A reminder that entries can only be submitted from DSD AC for athletes that are currently registered with DSDAC for the 2025 Membership Year. You should have already received communication regarding this from the Membership Team.

To give you some background on how the entry system works. For DSD to submit a competition entry on the Athletics Ireland system for an athlete, that Athletes’ Athletics Ireland 2025 Membership must be renewed by DSD AC. For this reason, we ask that your 2025 DSD Membership is current, please note the DSD membership cost can be paid on a phased basis – Click here for full details on how to renew your membership. Due to the earlier than usual Competition dates and Entry Deadlines this year – we will have a tight turnaround on Membership and AAI Renewals – so we ask for your cooperation and patience with our requests.

Juvenile competition entry fees are included in your Club subscription, however we would like to remind members that entry fees are per event, so please ensure you are available to compete in all events that are entered.

Club Singlets

Note that the Club Singlet must be worn for all competitions – please find the link below to order: Dundrum South Dublin Athletics Club - Team Wear Store.ie

Volunteer Officials – (NO experience required!)

As with all competitions, it is a Dublin Athletics Board (DAB) condition that all clubs provide officials at each competition. For the Indoor Championships the DAB requires 1 official for every 15 athletes entered. Clubs that do not provide enough officials are at risk of their athletes not being permitted to compete.

To ensure our coaches can prepare and assist their athletes we look to parents to help when required. We always aim to schedule volunteers on a rota basis throughout the day to share the load. We can only do that if we have sufficient numbers to create the rota.

In the interest of fairness, there are a number of parents who step up regularly, for which we are most appreciative. However, we do not take their generosity for granted and would like to see those that have not volunteered before coming forward. Without sufficient numbers we will need to assign coaches to officiate which will leave the athletes without their coach. This is something we wish to avoid. Your co-operation will be much appreciated.

We are required to submit Volunteer names in advance of the competition days. For this reason, we ask that you confirm your availability when submitting your entry. It will also allow us to arrange the rota.

Individual Events & Spraoi Games Entries are NOW OPEN!

(please note closing dates)
