Our Novice Men and Women’s teams were in action yesterday, on the Tramore racecourse, in beautiful sunny conditions, at National Novice Cross Country Championships. Eanna Moynihan Ó Bradaigh ran a fine race, taking the lead with a lap to go in a effort to win the race. He fought all the way to the finish, but had to be satisfied with 6th position, being overtaken on the last part of the race. Eanna and Jamie Byrne helped Dublin to finish second county.
Also helping Dublin to bronze medals, in the Women’s race, we had Lisa Gaughran, who has just returned to competitive athletics after a long break from the sport.
Well done to all!
