Elizabeth Ndudi continued on her winning ways yesterday in Santry at National Track & Field Championships taking her first National Senior Long Jump title.
On a wet and windy weekend records and fast times were hard to come by, and despite that there were many fine performances. A super performance by Mollie O’Reilly saw her win a bronze medal at 100m, proving that she’s back to top class form. Georgie Hartigan found the conditions hard to handle and had to settle for 3rd in the women’s 800m. Ciara Wilson Bowen won her first senior walk medal, taking bronze.
D.S.D women’s teams won gold at 4 x 1 and 4 x 4 relays with our men’s team also winning gold at 4 x 4.
Well done to all!
