The recruitment policy of D.S.D with local schools has paid off in both directions as the coaching knowledge is passed on and ensures that the schools and the club share a joint responsibility to aid athletes achieve their goals in the athletics world. Six of the Leinster Championship winners in Santry on Saturday will now go forward to the All Ireland Schools Championships and will be joined by others who placed in their events across Track & Field. Working in unison will ensure a future for the individual and team events, which will continue throughout the summer months.
