Eimear Maher won her 7th in a row Dublin Cross Country Championship on Sunday in Santry, when she led D.S.D. U.17 girls to victory. She was followed home in 2nd place by Saoirse O’Brien; Amelia Hauer 4th and Ella O’Donohoe 6th.
In the U.19 boys race Oisín Kelly also led his team to silver, and was supported by Ross O’Finneide 8th; Liam Blackburn 14th and James Crowley 16th.
Our U.19 girls were impressive winners finishing 1st, with Roisín Treacy 2nd; Emma Ryan 3rd; Faye Dervan 5th and Roisín McElligott 15th.
In the U.17 Boys race we won silver with Alex van Buttingha Wichers 4th; Morgan Clarkson 7th; Oscar Lubiner 14th and Javae St. Lewis 15th.
The avalanche of D.S.D. team victories continued when our U.15 boys won gold, led home by Finn O’Neill 5th; Oscar Boyle 6th; Jamie Byrne 8th; Andrew McGllton 9th; Tristan McClafferty 12th; Jim Finlay 14th.
Isabella Tomkin Beddy ran a great race to finish 4th in th U.15 Girls race.
Earlier in the day Luca Moran fired the opening salvo in the U.9 boys race with a brave run, fighting all the way to the finish line, to take the bronze medal.
