It was Gold, Silver and Bronze for Dundrum South Dublin A.C on Saturday in Santry, at the National U.20 Track & Field Championships.
Molly Hourihan took the 200m title in great style in 25.16 (PB); Cian Dunne (U.18) ran his usual brave race to finish a great 2nd in the 400m 49.64 (PB); and bronze went to Charlotte Bourke, who also makes this age group again next year, finishing the 400m 3rd in 58.85.
Cara Murphy (U.18) moving up the 400m, ran a fine race in the heat, in 60.99. Also running very well, in atrocious conditions, Adam Whitten 2nd 200m (Ht) 23.44; David Menezes 5th (Ht) 23.94 and Tobi Edward (despite being left behind at the start and trying to catch up!!) 24 secs; Gregor McCullagh Travers 2nd 400m (HT) 52.39 and these athletes all qualify in age again next year. Jack Moraghan 4th 400m (Ht) 52.32; Isabelle Doyle 200m (Ht) 30 secs.
Well done to all!
