Our Master athletes are at it again! There is no keeping them down as they racked up more impressive performances at the Munster Championships in Waterford. Shane Sheridan led the way by equaling his own Irish age group record in the 100m 12.37. He then won the 200m in 25.99.
Birthday boy Kevin Byrne celebrated his new age group (M.45) with a new Irish age group record of 2.80 Pole Vault. He also finished first in the H.J. 1.58 and 2nd Long Jump 5.07.
In the M.40 Brian McDermott set a new meet record with a throw of 47.80 Javelin, and picked up another medal in the Discus (3rd) 26.74.
Michael Burke managed three silver medals in the 100m 12.44; 200m 25.89 and 400m 58.67.
Congrats to all!
