The Raheny 5 mile had a surprise twist this year when someone accidentally moved one of the turning point cones and sent everyone on a scenic route to the finish line! The bonus 450 metres didn’t deter the DSD athletes who took to the course on Sunday. Our Women’s team won the Women’s team title beating the home team; Raheny by 15 points. They were led home by Meghan Ryan (6th), closely followed by Maria Cambridge (15th) and Niamh Devlin (20th) in what was a very strong women’s field. Killian Mooney was our first man across the finish line in 7th place overall showing the strength that he has displayed throughout the cross country season.
