Shane in Flying Form!

Congratulations to Shane Sheridan, who set a new Irish M60 100m record of 12.66s (0.9) at the Scottish Masters Championships in Grangemouth on Saturday 13th July. The old record was 12.74s which was set 32 years ago in 1987 by Sean Cowler. Shane ran in a race with the M55 which gave him good competition, as he fought hard to win the race just pipping the the guy in second who ran 12.70s on the line. Shane also won the 200m in 26.61s.

His next races will be at the European Masters Games in Turin on the 28th July to 4th August where he will run the 100m and 400m.
