U.23 Hurdles Win for Kate!

A small contingent of D.S.D athletes travelled to Athlone yesterday for the U.20 and U.23 Indoor Championships.

Kate Doherty was in sparkling form as she finished a clear winner, with a great new PB of 8.47, in the U.23 Women’s 60m Hurdles. Ciaran Carthy made a good return to competition, finishing in 4th place in the u.20 400m final, with a new Indoor P.B of 49.59. He makes this age group again next year. Gavin Doran also finished 4th in the u.20 200m final, in 22.91 (PB), and he has two more years in the U.20 age group. Jack Moraghan ran a good semi final in the U.20 800m in 2.02.27 to reach the final.
